This Saturday, May 24, from 1:00 – 7:00 PM, the Rotary Club of Concord is hosting MusicFest, a free, family-friendly concert at Rideout Park in West Concord. Proceeds from this year’s event will go directly to Thoreau’s Backyard!

Musical Lineup:

  • 1:00 PM – Joy of Music Clarinet Ensemble

  • 2:00 PM – Rockabye Beats (children’s entertainment)

  • 3:00 PM – Seth Connelly (guitar & familiar songs)

  • 4:00 PM – Ya Mon Mr. Hot Pepper (steel drums)

  • 5:00 PM – The Fat City Band (headline act)


In addition to the music, there will be food trucks, games, crafts, and booths from local nonprofits.

No ticket required! Bring a blanket or lawn chairs, invite friends, and settle in for as much of the afternoon as you like. It’s a great opportunity to have some fun, meet neighbors, and see how the plans for Thoreau’s Backyard are coming together. We’ll have a table near the nonprofit area; please stop by and say hello!
